BB Travel Fulbeck is a small, one‑vehicle Private Hire operator. Due to past experiences and rising operating costs, it has become necessary to introduce a clear and fair policy to ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe, and available for all customers who rely on prebooked journeys. These policies are not designed to be harsh — they simply protect the business from avoidable delays, damage, and loss of earnings.

Additional Pick‑Ups and Drop‑Offs

Please provide all pick‑up and drop‑off addresses at the time of booking. Extra stops may increase mileage, time and fuel usage, and may therefore incur additional charges. Acceptance of additional stops during the journey is at the driver’s discretion, depending on safety, timing and schedule commitments.

 

Waiting Time

BB Travel Fulbeck operates as a Private Hire service and does not use a taxi meter. If passengers delay departure beyond the booked time (for example: finishing drinks, saying goodbyes, or unexpected waiting), waiting time may be charged to cover time lost and potential disruption to later bookings. Waiting time beyond reasonable limits is at the driver’s discretion.

Vehicle Cleanliness

If food, drink, mud or other substances require professional cleaning, a cleaning charge may apply to cover the cost of returning the vehicle to service. Decisions relating to cleaning requirements are at the driver’s discretion.

Fouling / Vomiting If a passenger vomits or fouls the vehicle, a £200 cleaning and valet charge will apply. This total amount includes the £150 professional valet and sanitisation cost, as well as vehicle downtime, loss of future work, and missed prebooked jobs. Payment is required by debit or credit card. Continuation of the journey after fouling is at the driver’s discretion.

Loss of Earnings Due to Fouling / Vomiting If the vehicle must be taken off the road due to fouling, damage or excessive cleaning, BB Travel Fulbeck will incur unavoidable costs. A professional valet and sanitisation service is required, charged at £150, and the vehicle cannot be used until cleaning is completed. As a small, one‑vehicle Private Hire operator, this results in the loss of any prebooked work during the downtime, along with future jobs that cannot be fulfilled. In these circumstances,

BB Travel Fulbeck reserves the right to apply a loss‑of‑earnings charge to cover missed bookings and disruption caused. All decisions relating to vehicle downtime and loss‑of‑earnings charges are at the driver’s discretion.

Passenger Safety

For late‑night journeys, BB Travel Fulbeck will not leave vulnerable passengers walking alone. Multiple drop‑offs must be declared at booking so the correct fare can be calculated and the journey can be planned safely. All safety‑related decisions are at the driver’s discretion.
